History [Tutorial Building]

The subject of History is taught at Gujarat College since its inception. In addition to teaching History as per syllabus, additional training on folk culture and tourism is provided by educational tours organized on regular basis. The Department profile also encompasses the subject of Political Science. The subjects of History is taught at main, Ist subsidiary and IInd subsidiary levels, while Political Science only at Ist subsidiary and IInd subsidiary levels. College gives away Garet Economics and History Prize every year.

The Department has had glorious tradition of having knowledgable and well known faculties like Dr. Ushaben Bhatt and Shri Devendra Bhatt.
