Started in June 1971, the Microbiology Department was granted the permanent affiliation by the Gujarat University on 15-JUN-1982. The Department can boast of numerous Prizes and Trophies and Shields won by the students at state level events and Medals for rank at the Gujarat University examinations. Thousands of alumnii are presently occupying key positions in the academia and in industries, in India and abroad.
